Janneke analyzes the colors of flowers, and if you look closely you will recognize images. The incredibly greedy and horny appearance of a red amaryllis, the intrusive mood of a yellow sunflower and innocent delicate white Helleborus which just exceeds the snow. Artists like to experiment with color, so does Janneke who loves nothing better than mixing her own colors, with great precision: "You can design borage and marjoram for spices tableware, but no orchids, although colors appear beautifully on my Fabriano paper".
