Roel van Daal

A painter of light. With direct and surefire brush strokes he imagines the world around us: cities, markets, streets and recently also trees. Roel van Breda stays close to his subjects and approaches them in a personal way. During the process of painting, they are subjective by the composition of color and the typical view of the light. He shows how the ordinary is transformed as it were to the unusual to preserve through the images in their reality and at the same time in a private poetry.
